Little House in the Big Woods

What do you teach a 12th grader, 8th grader and 7th grader? Here is the list of curriculum for the year.

Kiani (12th grader) is doing the Abeka Academy.

• Life Management/Revelation
• English 12
• Economics/Speech
• Advanced Math
• Physics
• Physical Education (yes, this too is 50 minute class)
• Keyboarding A/Computer Applications

Kiani will be using the DVD program and each lesson is 5o minutes long. She will also have homework. I have a feeling our school day is going to be longer this year.

Ashleigh (8th grader) is using traditional textbooks.

• Writing and Grammar 8 by BJU Press
• Saxon math Algebra 1/2
• Physical Science by BJU Press
• Vocabulary from the Classical Roots by Nancy Fifer and Nancy Flowers
• World History by Abeka
• Literature by BJU Press
• On-line Art Appreciation

Jason (7th grader) is using traditional textbooks

• Daily Spark
• Writing and Grammar 7 by BJU Press
• Saxon math 8/7
• Science by BJU Press
• Wordly Wise 3000
• World History by Abeka
• Literature by BJU Press
• On-line Art Appreciation
