Schedules, Chore Charts, and Cleaning

Today, I only completed a few things on my list but I did others things as well. As for cleaning, I did clean the kitchen windows only (this is a big task because we have windows in every room expect for one). I also cleaned the microwave and toaster oven. I cleaned the dining room mirror, wet dusted the light fixture and a large picture. I also made the menu for two weeks (14 dinners, list of breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and dessert items). Then we went to the store and bought everything for the menu. This task takes a long time–about 2 to 3 hours. I also took the time to make a chore chart for one of my children and reviewed school schedules with the principal (my husband) for next year. I made one that I would love to accomplish and one that might be more reasonable. She has a lot to accomplish this year, and it is very important that she is on a schedule.
