Our Devotions

We do daily devotions. I based it on my bible. The bible, we use is The Power of the Praying Woman Bible–Prayer and Study Helps by Stormie Omartian. She includes prayers to go along with the scriptures. Here is an example:
Praying Genesis 3:1-13
God, help me to obey You at all times
and never assume that I know what’s
best for my life.
I have the children read the scriptures that go with the prayer. Then I have them journal on what it means to them.
