Tackle it Tuesday

This is my new project. I am writing or putting together a cookbook for my children. The children are getting older and will be moving out the house. They are already are asking for the recipe of their favorite meals. I am currently trying to find a book to hold it all. Here are some hopefuls…

I did this for a good friend with all my favorite Italian home cooking recipes and it was a treasured gift.
There are a few great book making sites now- you can turn your recipes, pictures, notes, etc into professional looking books, for a relatively low cost. I’m thinking of doing something similar, but gathering all my families (aunts, cousins, grandmothers, etc) favorite recipes with a little note from them or story about them to go with the recipe. A fun, if not involved, project!
