New School Schedule for 2008-2009
We are doing things a little different this year. The children are enrolled in the Abeka Academy. It is a correspondent school. I still administrate a lot their school work but Abeka helps with curriculum and keeps tracks of their transcripts. This is our new school schedule.
- 8:00-8:05 am Wake up, Make Bed, Get Dressed
- 8:05-8:10 am Put away the dishes
- 8:10-8:30 am Breakfast
- 8:30-8:35 am Brush teeth and hair
- 8:35-9:00 am Quiet time
- 9:00-9:50 am Bible/P.E.*
- 9:50- 9:55 am Break
- 9:55-10:45 am Bible/P.E.*
- 10:45-11:00 am Morning Snack Time
- 11:00-11:50 am Math/English**
- 11:50-11:55 am Break
- 11:55-12:45 pm Math/English**
- 12:45-1:15 pm Lunch time
- 1:15-2:05 pm Science
- 2:05-2:10 pm Break
- 2:10-3:00 pm History/Health***
- 3:00-3:15 pm Afternoon snack
- 3:15-4:00 pm Chores
- 4:00-5:00 pm Homework
- 5:00-6:00 pm Dinner
- 6:00-8:00 pm Free time
- 8:0o-9:00 pm Get ready for bed
- 9:00-10:00 pm Read an hour and then go to sleep
* We only have one treadmill, so each kid has to take a turn. Shower time is included during P.E. time.
** Ashleigh does English, Jason does Math. (and then they switch)
***Ashleigh does Health, Jason does History. (Ashleigh will be doing History on the second semester. Jason’s Health is included in his Science)

I’m impressed with the organization it takes to pull a schedule like this off. This looks great and even though my kids aren’t homeschooled, this schedule is inspiring for the rest of our lives, outside of the school day. Your kids are so blessed to have you!
