FIREPROOF

Last night, my husband and I watch FIREPROOFÂ for the first time. This movie was amazing. It is more than a movie about marriage. It is a movie about relationships with everyone around you including God. I believe this movie was God driven. The people who made this movie only had one purpose. That purpose was bring people to God. There are Christians out there struggling through each day wondering how does God fit in their lives but fail to see that he is right there waiting for them. As a Christian, my life tends to get filled with busyness that I forget God is there for me. His unfailing love and forgiveness is always available, we just need to go to him.
Life is full of challengings, but we don’t have take them by ourseslves. God promises us that will be there.
Matthew 19:26 “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Are you FIREPROOF? You will face challenges in your life but are you prepare for them.

Great and important tackle:-)
This really is a great tackle. I saw this movie two weeks ago. I want them to make a sequel where they address the wife’s behavior. She doesn’t become a Christian until the end of the movie. I want to see her acknowledge the emotional affair that she had and deal with issues of asking forgiveness, etc. I want the world to see them grow together and watch as they handle the tough issues regarding being in the world, but not of it. I agree with Audra. It seemed to me that it was all about the male part being the failure in the relation ship, and not ,what or how the problems were brought on between them to start with.And the ending really pointed toward the husbands failure in relationships and reinforced, when it was told that the elders wife was the origion of the 40 day trial. Me and my wife saw the movie , it was great , but it reinforced her point of view that it is the male factor that causes the problems.
I agree too. I said the same thing to my husband. I have told some of my friends to not compare Caleb to their husbands. I did love the underlining messages that we need to love God first because he loved us first.
