My Birthday Surprise

On my birthday, my sweet hubby surprise me by taking me away for the weekend. It was the first time we have ever went away without the children. It was this little wonderful bed and breakfast. My hubby and I went to Newport, Rhode Island. During stay in Newport, we tour the Mansions. I was truly surprised how people lived 100 years ago, at least the rich. The amazing part was these homes were their summer homes. The homes were only used in the summer. The sad part was they didn’t let us take pictures of the inside of the homes. But we did take pictures of the outside.

This mansion was called the Elms.
I had the most wonderful time and I wish I can do it again some day.
