Menu Plan Monday

Posted By on January 17, 2010

After an expensive trip to Whole Foods Market, I am hoping our supply of groceries will last for a while.  I have been researching the internet trying to find healthy recipes for our menu this week. I believe I have. We will be doing things a little different this week by adding in snacks to our daily menu. The reason we are including snacks is because we are all learning portion control. By portioning out the snacks ahead, we won’t have a chance of over eating. We will be including two snacks. A smaller one in the morning and a larger one in the afternoon. Many of our meals are recipes that I have develop. I will tried to post them on the day I make them.

Your menu plan looks great! I just found your site today, so haven’t read enough to know the ages of your kiddos but have you tried the Hot Dog jellyfish in butter? It’s really fun and the kids love it! http://www.boingboing.net/2009/04/21/freaky-food-fun-inse.html

    Have a great week!
