My tackle today was to get the grocery shopping done. This is always a big job. I am a day late in planning our menu. That was the first thing that had to be done. The second was going to the store. The third thing was getting back home, make dinner and get the children over to Ms. Patty’s to feed the horses. The fourth is doing the daily chores. The fifth thing to do is blogging. Here are some things I hope to blog about…

  1. Christmas
  2. Our menu for the week (sorry, it is a day late)
  3. Something special about my hubby.

There is always so much to do. I am thankful that I have a wonderful life filled with things to do. Especially taking care of the ones I love.

I can’t believe it is Menu Plan Monday already. I also can’t believe that I haven’t blog all week. I have a lot to blog about but I will have to do that after I put up our menu plan. Last week was a great success. Thanks to all the people who participate in Menu Plan Monday, I was able to make a menu from their recipes. There was not one meal my family did not like. Unfortunately, we did not get to try all the recipes due to the fact we ate out once and had lots of leftovers. Here is our menu for this week.

Lunch - We ate breakfast late today and it is really filling so we had no lunch

We are currently learning how to use it. On Sunday, we final put up our Christmas tree. The reason I say final is because we usually put it up Thanksgiving weekend. Unfortunately, I was sick with a cold and was hard for me to enjoy it. Here are some pictures with our new camera of the family putting up the Christmas tree.

This is our Christmas Tree. Yes, it is fake. We didn’t want a live/dead tree because of our pets. Pine needles can be deadly to pets.

I was unable to take pictures for my Tackle It Tuesday. I had a really good one too. We made cookies for our cookie swap on Wednesday. I was able to get some pictures on Sunday of us making cookies with friends but not for Tuesday when made the rest of the cookies. Again, with no camera  I could not take pictures of the cookie swap. My Sweet hubby bought a new one and we are waiting for it to arrive. I hope it is soon because with many more Christmas events coming I would love get more pictures. But for now here are the few pictures we had on our memory card before it went kaput.
